  • I imagine it will be very similar to the NYC one. Since I'm pretty sure they are all from North Jersey. I love the OC housewives the best.
  • yep! ?i am sure they are all from N.jersey...but i am still excited to see what they are like!! ?my fav is the oc girls too...i cannot watch the atlanta one- it is as unwatchable as dancing with celebrities! (although i realize i am the only person on earth that cant stand that show!)

  • For real???  NJ housewives?  I don't know how I feel about this!!!
  • I am excited! It should be ridiculous but entertaining.  2 of the women are married to brothers who own the Brownstone...a typical bergan county reception hall.  They were on the show Platinum Weddings when the one girl was planning her wedding.

Apparently, they were in talks to have people from the town next to mine (well, my hometown), but they werent "jersey" enough.

  • Yea, it'll probably be very similar to NYC. But that's ok... I'm willing to give all reality TV a chance!!!
  • The Bergen County episode of platinum weddings where they photocopied invitations on the xerox machine????????  It's those people????? I saw that episode and was dying!!  I thought those people were a disaster!!!!

    but they werent "jersey" enough.

This right here is why Jersey gets a bad rap to it.

by "jersey," I meant people's perception of jersey (staten island/long island types). This stereotype is totally not like anyone I know in NJ (north or south).
  • Stupid tv shows making our state look worse.  Oh well.  I'll probably still watch the first episode at least.

I also hate the Jersey sterotypes.  I don't know anyone that the stereotype actually fits.  (Except for TV New Jersey people on and MTV show)

  • Oh my god I can't wait.  This is going to be a hot mess and I love it!  We were just talking about this at work today.  I remember hearing about it a long time ago, but I thought they just squashed it.  We were also saying that they should do a Real Houswives of Chicago and Dallas
  • Ugh,... I dunno if I could handle Dallas!... Haha
  • I think its going to be similar to the NY one, north jersey is pretty much the same as NY
