Confession
I am looking for ideas on how to deal with decorating wierd spots in our home. My last resort is that I am now looking at interior pictures of homes (with the same floor plan) for sale in my neighborhood.

My kitchen. It has such a large wierd space that there's not a good place for a table.

It does make me feel better knowing that all of these places have the same poopy colored cabinets and icky countertops I do. Misery loves company
