Spray Tan?

Has anyone done this?  Any recs on places?  What is the average cost?

Re: Spray Tan?

  • I went to Healthy Tans in Deptford before my wedding and was very happy with the results. I think it was around $30... They had coupons on their website when I last looked. I felt they were very good about explaining everything - both over the phone before my appointment, and while I was at my appointment as well.

The only thing that kind of stunk was that after 2 weeks or so, I had some blotchiness from parts that had worn off. I just had to scrub a little harder in the shower... wasn't that big of a deal.

  • Krista,

For my wedding my stepmom used Dazzle Me Bronze in Lumberton on Rt. 38. My BM used a place in Cherry Hill. I think it was Forever Bronze, but I'm not positive. I have also heard on the boards about Healthy Tans in Deptford.

  • Krista, Forever Bronze in Cerry Hill is awesome!  The owner mixes a color for you and she is the only one that spray's you.  You do need to make appt. several days in advance b/c she is the only one that does it and on certain days.  Well worth it!  I was a tanning bed FREAK and have been sober for 2 years in May!  Yea for pretty pale skin!!
  • Thanks, girls!

Liz, how much per tan is Forever Bronze?

  • I honestly can't remember...40ish?  Cupons on there website though!!  That price is for whole body.  I go topless and wear a gstring...In case you were wondering:)
  • I also used Healthy Tans in Deptford, and while I was happy with them, I don't think I'll do it again.  They were really good about everything and I was pleased with it, but it was also the first time I'd ever done spray tanning and decided it's just not for me.  I couldn't stand the feeling of the stuff on me (and you can't shower for a few hours afterwards while it works its magic) and I was so afraid to touch anything because I didn't want it to stain anything (found out later that really isn't a problem as long as you wash it within a day or so, but still..)  It just seemed like it was a lot more trouble than it was worth to me--I'll stay pale.
