So, the couple who looked at my townhouse loved it. They loved everything about it.
Except the fact that it only has 2 bedrooms.
So, here's my thought process. If you TRULY need 3 bedrooms, why are you even LOOKING at a place with less than 3? And why would you call my realtor and have your realtor say to her "Well, if they could add another bedroom, we'd buy it."
Uh, if it had another bedroom, we probably would have stayed another year people!
Re: ugh...people
Sorry no such thing as too many closets! Sounds like a cop out to me!
The listing does specifically say 2 bedrooms. And lists ALL the rooms in the house! There is technically a room that could be changed to a bedroom - it's a sunroom but it would have to be enclosedand roofed, hooked onto the heating system, etc. We're not going to do that since we're trying to SELL it. But, yes, this was the second couple to do that. The first couple hadn't seen the online listing though and their realtor didn't have the MLS sheet - they drove past with their realtor and asked if they could go on. This most recent couple did have all the info.
In good news though, they do say that this spring should be the best home buying season in years because of interest rates!
Oh and there is NO such thing as too many closets!
