BIL and boyfriend were mugged at a Britney concert.....
I just found out that my BIL and his boyfriend were mugged and beat up after they were leaving a Britney Spears concert in NJ. They think that they were targeted because they are gay. Daniel (his boyfriend) has a crushed jaw.... he is the nicest person in the whole world... this is crazy!! I am so upset for them right now.
I am at a loss of what I should do. They live in NJ and we see each other 1-2 times per year so it is not like we are exactly close so I am not going to call them... but I would like to do something. Money is tight so I can't spend too much money. I am unsure if Daniel has med. insurance or not... I know that Josh doesn't. I was going to send them $20 with an explanation that it is what I would have spent on flowers but would rather give them the $ but didn't know it that was tacky... and also that it isn't that much.
Any advice and prayers are appreciated.

That's horrible.
Instead of sending them money, is there anyway you could send them a meal? A gift card from somewhere, or call a restaurant local to them and have it delivered? This way you're doing something to help, not spending a lot of $$, and not just sending cash.

That is horrible. I'm glad that they didn't suffer more severe injuries, but his BF's injuries certainly sound painful. I hope they're able to find the group members who did this.
