Quick reply-- can anyone in Hsv take in a dog?

My friend found a cocker spaniel wandering across University Drive with no tags or anything. She's trying to find it a home and the Humane Society won't take it.

  • Nevermind. The pound took her and said they would keep her for five days. So hopefully the owner will be looking. If not, my friend's going to take her to a pet sanctuary I told her about.

  • I would have her put up signs (with the shelter contact info and a description of the dog) in the area and possibly contact local vet clinics to see if they might know the dog.

Good for your friend for stopping to help - so many people drive right by pretending not to notice animals wandering around.
