Helmets are super duper important, regardless as to how beginner or advanced you are. Shiit happens.
You wouldn't believe some of the senseless and crazy deaths I have seen working in the ski industry.

in lithuania, it's not mandatory to wear helmets while riding a motorcycle.

Helmets aren't required in Florida either! My sister and BIL have a motorcycle there and they don't have to wear them! Thank goodness they are smart and choose to wear helmets.?

I totally laughed at my cousin when he told me he wears a helmet and padded jacket when he snowboards too. ?I guess he's pretty smart, not dorky.?

This is horrible, especially since she is leaving behind 2 young boys.
I wonder though, why didn't the ski instructor tell her to wear a helmet?? That is quite careless of him.
