Have you tried the Saucony running sneakers? When we had to run for soccer during practice (ughhhhh, some days 10 miles) I would wear these. My ankles always turn and I have high arches and they felt the best to me. I just wanted to throw that out there.

That's what I'm afraid of. (We don't have the HSA, just the copay and I should probably look into it more to see if/what is covered. Podiatry isn't specifically mentioned, I don't believe.)
I'm a real winner, sometimes... my dentist wants me to wear a night guard at night because she thinks I grind my teeth while I sleep (I don't agree with her) - that puppy's $199 AFTER insurance. My opthalmalogist wants me to wear nighttime gel in my eyes (think thick goop) and doesn't think a mask would be a bad idea - I spend probably $60/month on that stuff. Now I could probably use special foot forms and god only knows what that'll run me.
