We were all crazy when we were planning our weddings?
My local knot board is usually very, very dead...but lately there's been a rush of NM beebees. It's entertaining and alarming, really (my sister posts there occasionally, but luckily she hasn't entered beebee-hood...yet). One girl was frustrated b/c her family/friends aren't helping her plan "her day" so she was going to start assigning them tasks...of course everyone jumps on board w/what a *great* idea that is. The second some of us old farts come in, WE'RE the bad guys and don't understand what it's like to plan a wedding. Now some other girl wants to fly in a photographer from Ohio or something to take b-pics and she's trying to round up other girls to get the costs down...how about you hire local so you don't have to worry about that? But again, I don't understand...granted my mom is a local photog so maybe I'm oversensitive.
Damn you Nest for screwing up my siggy!

Re: We were all crazy when we were planning our weddings?
I think - I've venture to say know - we all had SOME CRAZINESS, whether it was FMIL drama, BM drama, or just "I want it THIS way and that's that!" moments.
I also think there's an excess of crazy brides crawling out of the woodwork with super beebee attitudes, but the "old married hags" have mostly been run off (at least that's the case on my local boards; the Knot has 2-3 married people on it, but the Nest is all the married brides with children. Those of us without children are kind of left hanging in between.) When we were engaged and planning, most of us had the wiser already married Knotties/Nesties jumping our sh*t when we stepped out of line. LOL
MH confessed yesterday that he's found himself turning Bridezillas on more and more. LOL We'll be watching the show and say "You were NEVER like that." Uhhh... thanks, honey, I sure as hell hope not! LOL
He says he likes watching it because the women are SO FREAKING INSANE.
