Weekend Project: Kitchen Backsplash
Our weekend was spent mainly at Lowe's and at home tiling our kitchen backsplash. We've got 70% of it up and plan to grout it in the next few weekends. DH starts to travel again very shortly so we'll have to make an effort to complete it.
First home improvement project ....not so bad. Of course now we're beginning to plan the next one.

I love DIY projects. We start ripping down the chair rail paneling the in the dinning room on saturday. The room looks so much bigger without all that dark wood in there.
I would love to see your back splash because I'm thinking of putting a more decritive one up in my kitchen. I just have white tiles right now from the former owner. Is it hard to do? Maybe you'll have come over and give me some pointers on how to do it since you'll be a pro.
