How was everyone's weekend? Irma - I hope your shower went well! I know the sun peeked out for most of the afternoon in Rancho : )
Friday Amy and I spent the day in LA at a seminar, then had dinner at Olvera Street, yum!
Saturday I had to shoot a wedding.
Yesterday I desparately needed to catch up on housework, groceries, etc...then we had a hockey game, which Eric enjoyed thoroughly! : )
Hope everybody has a great day!
Re: Happy Monday!
I had a great weekend.
Friday I took the day off work and spent the day at Burke Williams, then we went out for sushi to celebrate my birthday with my step-kids.
Saturday I got my hair done, then to my grandma's for a little party for my birthday.
Sunday stayed home and did laundry, caught up on some Tivo and went grocery shopping.
Today is my actual birthday so DH and I will probably go out to dinner.
Happy birthday!
Val, I did a "quick" recap of my shower in the "It's raining" thread. It went very well.
Today, I have to begin sorting through all the gifts and maybe return the duplicates if I have time. I have to ship my laptop out to HP for a recall they have on a broken hinge.
That's going to suck, not having my computer for 10-14 days!
Have a great day everyone! Notice the beautiful weather out there!
Dumb nest cut me off! Anyway . . .
Friday night we went to Victoria Gardens. I got some stuff at Ulta and we had dinner at Johnny Rockets. It was nice and loud so L's talking went unnoticed
Saturday I got maintenance on my car done and did some shopping with my mom. Oh how I've missed Ross! We also watched Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist - so cute! Yesterday was church and some errands. I was desperate to see Twilight so I broke down and bought the DVD. Not nearly as good as the book, but RP is cute so its all good.
Hello!
Friday- hung out with a friend and went shopping. Sat- lunch with friends, picked up some stuff for our upcoming camping trip and some bulbs for the garden and pots. That evening we went to davids cousins place and we bbq'd and us girls watched Twlight, which I loved! Yesterday, just relaxed and spent time with Davids aunt and uncle who are here from Hawaii.
Ugh, I got cut off as well. Anyways, what I was going to say was that, I have not read the book. I am definitely going to read it now!
Morning everyone! Hope this wk goes by fast bc I'm anxiously looking forward to my long wkend and Vegas trip!
Weekend was pretty relaxing which was a nice change a pace from the last few I've had since my sisters have been in town. Friday had dinner with my family, sat went wedding dress shopping with an engaged friend then celebrated persian new year, we didnt get home until 2:30 am so on sun I spent the whole day on the couch with my DVR but was able to make a crockpot dinner which was ok, watched DH and went to bed.
Happy Birthday!!
Fri-did some errands.
Sat-was our trip to California Adventure, which went really well. Isabel saw her first 3D movie, so that was fun seeing her trying to grab the images. Both I & J loved the pixel parade.
Sun-did a quick trip to staters, rest of the day was just relaxing.?
?
Spent the weekend with our kids (his and mine) relaxing. Did some yard work, errands, etc. Nothing too exciting. Went out to dinner on Sunday with my Mom since she left for Florida for 2 weeks to see my new nephew.
Watched my Twilight DVD on Sunday! Weeeeeee!!!
Happy Monday! We had a nice weekend. Sarah finally got better after we saw the doctor (for a 2nd visit) on Friday. They switched her antibiotics and that seemed to do the trick. Saturday we went to the Lake Elsinore outlets to get some clothes for our Ireland trip. The Children's Place had AMAZING deals! Sweaters for $1.99 and fleece sweat suits for $4.99! She scored big time! We then went out to lunch (note - Sarah is NOT ready for hot dogs!) at Wood Ranch in Corona. Afterwards I dropped off DH and Sarah at home and I ran to Corona Crossings to get some clothes for me, some new shoes and some hard-soled shoes for Sarah (she can't wear her soft-soled Robeez in the rain in Ireland). Yesterday we just hung out at home and caught up on Tivo. It was a nice way to spend a cold, semi-rainy Sunday.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Good morning. I just went for a walk and then hosed off the windows out front. They were so dusty. Nothing else going on today. I am going to take some pics of Mary in her 3 month onesie though.
Saturday I went to a Piggies and Paws party. They painted Mary's foot and did a print and they make a design out of it. It's pretty cool. They have tons of designs and they do hands and feet. I was thinking of having my own party later on when Mary's hand is a little bigger. After that we went to a Mary Kay party and then after that we saw SIL and went shopping. It was a very busy day!
Sunday I did nothing. I had to make up for Saturday.
I did play Monopoly with my nephews and then watched Meet The Robinsons. It was a really cute movie.
My weekend was very uneventful. I am sick for the first time in god knows how long. I NEVER get sick. Ever. So when I do I am totally miserable. I have slept 12+ hours for the last three nights and my throat is killing me which is bizarro because I had my tonsils out when I was 3 so I've never gotten sore throats.
I think I might be feeling better though. Perhaps the ice cream that DH ran out to get me just tastes really really good
