Why is this board so slow? Thoughts? Ideas?
I guess everyone sees that there is nothing new on here and then just goes to another website? Or we are all too busy with work? Or maybe on a different "Nest" board?
I, personally, check this site almost every day and see that there were only like 3-4 new posts in a given day and then just move on to another site.
What are your thoughts? How can we get this board moving again?

I really only get to nest on my days off from work (sat, sun, mon). I check the board on some evenings but I work late (until 7 pm) and by that time most everyone is gone for the today and any "issues" were solved...so there is not much to add to.
I also live in a different area than most of you and lately there have been a number of posts looking for recommendations for the area (York, Lancaster, Harrisburg), so I never have anything to add to those posts.
I guess most of us are fairly busy or don't have access to the nest during the day.
This board was super active during my first year on the nest but alot of the regulars who helped keep the board moving during that time haven't been on as much either work has them busier or they are either pg or just had babies (either first or second) so I'm sure they just don't have the time anymore. I know personally I don't have as much time and most times cannot check in from work anymore especially right now as I'm in line for a promotion.
As this board got slower or I recognized less people I didn't check in as frequently. I'm almost always on D&R.
I also can't check in during the day and will usually check in once quickly after work or during the evening. I guess lately I've been spending more time on house projects, grad school and honestly, doing a lot of reading and browsing on other boards on here and the bump since we've been TTC.
Like Jen said, I am starting to not recognize newer people, or am not up to date on what is going on. I also live in Maryland (grew up in Central PA), so don't usually have rec's for the area.?
That being said, I do miss chatting with everyone and always enjoyed this board and everyone here!
