My Dad is having surgery Weds
He is heading down to Scripps in La Jolla to have "High Risk Angioplasty with Stent Placements." I had mention in a pp about him having Congestive Heart Failure, along with severe Heart Disease. The sad thing is, he STILL hasn't stopped smoking, despite having breathing treatments and needing to be on oxygen to sleep. I am very anxious/nervous/scared/worried yet hopeful this will work. The doctors wont do a bypass because they don't think he would recover from it. He is only 60 years old, and his heart is functioning at 30%. H+P please!!! Thanks, ladies.

my dad had an angio & stents a couple of years ago (I think he was 62) and he is in great health now. I hope the same for your dad!?

I am really sorry to hear about that! My brother had a heart-transplant 13 years ago this April so I can definitely relate to heart worries...?
?My words of comfort- God provided doctors with brains not like the average joe, so trust that they know what they are doing! second, ?Modern medicine is??amazing.?
