Hey - I posted below in the dinner post but since dinner has been over for 5 hours you might not look at it again... I have made the cajun pasta dish for the hubby before and while it was very very good I would not use the heavy cream it was so rich and I had so many leftovers I actually ended up throwing some out. I think some of the other suggestions actually say to use half and half so I would go with that or even better if I made it again I would probably just add the sauce slowly so just to coat - not to have a puddle like I did.
Also, I love your Red Sox logo - I am currently typing this in the red sox room - although in this house the room is painted yellow (in our old apt. our landlords let us paint and it was red) it is just decked out with all of our red sox pics and stuff. Are you going to any games this year?
Re: **jjenkins**
Hey thanks for letting me know that tidbit about the recipe! I usually read through the reviews too since people are always adapting the recipes but I hadn't read them yesterday yet. I was going to make it tonight but I got home from work and DH informed me that he's doing bbq-ed chicken and baked potatoes on the grill since I have 2 evening training clients tonight. When he wants to cook I usually let him and enjoy the time to kick back!
Yay for another Red Sox fan!! We don't have too much memorabilia or anything but give it time...I just converted my DH into a Red Sox fan within the last 1.5 years (before that he was a Braves fan). Last year we went to Philly to see them play and we saw them in Baltimore (Fenway South!!) too. I think we'll probably try to get to at least one game this year too. We actually have a MLB gift card from my SIL/BIL from Christmas so we've been debating about using it towards new shirts or tickets
You'll have to let me know if you and your DH are going to any games and maybe we'll meet up!!
Oh we will probably go to the Baltimore game and I think they are in Philly too. We usually try to go to Fenway once a year, but I think this year we might have to stay home which will be sorta sad since it has become a tradition.
My husband loves everything Boston - I even gave him Boston slippers for x-mas - his newest fascination is this replica of the green monster which you can change out the scores and who is playing and stuff -- he wants it for his "man cave" I was like you have to be kidding me haha!
I just literally LOL'd about the replica Fenway! Definitely can't tell my DH about that.
We need to look at the schedule but I'll let you know what games we're going to go to. I know DH was already talking about it since my b-day is in May and they are usually either in Philly or Baltimore during that time.
I've not been to Fenway yet
but I think my love of Boston was a birth thing because my dad lived outside of Boston for a while as a kid. My college bff actually got engaged last year while on a group tour inside Fenway.
