I brought a really yummy lunch today. (just left overs, but I'm still excited, spaghetti and garlic bread)
We have another ultrasound today.
We leave for MI this Friday and I get to see tons of people... some of which I havent seen since our wedding. I'm excited.
OH, and I have a baby shower on Sat, yay!
reminiscing makes me both angry and grateful for the life i have now.
puff pancakes stuffed with nutella are yummy, and even better when shared with the teen and the bean.
the teen's newly adopted vegetarian lifestyle is endlessly entertaining.
i'm excited for this weekend.
Lately I'm about the little things making me happy too.

1. I KNOW I sound like a crazy cat lady right now- but I LOVE my new kitties.
My thought of the week is realizing that if things go well I will be done with law school in just over a year! The idea of having week nights for leisure and weekends free of home work is something that hasn't existed in my life for the last 7 years!!
Other randam happiness is my surprise $20 airborne class action check that came yesterday.
And of course the fact that I have a new dream purse I have been drooling over for months is tending to help me see the bright side of things :-)

I'm looking forward to date night next weekend!!!
i got to hang out with my bff and her cool sister while meeting one of our favorite authors friday night.
we're hosting H's b-day dinner with the family at our house and i'm going to attempt a homemade pie (since he is more of a pie than cake fan.)
i get to see some cool chicks for dinner friday night.
i made a commitment to myself to finish the winter book challenge (by the end date) from the nest book club board and i'm on my last two books! yay!

My roommate has been fab and I love her, but I am so ready to live on my own. One of her good friend's roommate is moving out of their place to live with her boyfriend, so she is going to move in with her. Pretty ideal, actually.
As for the pup, it just all depends what is at the shelter when its time for me to get one. I'm pretty damn excited about it!

1. I have the stomach flu and I feel like sh*t but I've also reached a weight loss goal, so, yay?
2. I am close to buying my new wallet that I have been lusting over.
3. H is finally a little happier about his job.
4. H's family dog has terminal cancer and they let her do whatever the hell she wants, it's kinda funny. You want to eat table scraps, go ahead! Want to lay on the bed? Go ahead! At least her last few weeks will be happy ones I hope.
today = making it to two years without killing eachother.
in general = life is pretty good, all things considered.

Today has been a pretty happy day
1. I have an amazing husband that really listens to me and tries to help me!
2. I got my cap and gown for graduation in May
3. My sister turned 18 today....and while that is bittersweet. Its pretty awesome to see the woman she has grown to be!
