Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

The Nesticles and Most Active Posters are working again
Wow...I looked up and realized I got another nesticle!!! It will take forever to get the rest now...LOL.

I noticed that yesterday! I got an email about a PM I received months ago, haha.
It is the box under our names. You have a LOOOONNNGGG way to go. You have to get out of newbie status first, which is 501 posts, and probably even into silver status, which is 2001 posts. You have to be in like the top 500 posters to get your first "nesticle". I'm not sure what the number is right now. They just started working again. They were broken for a while.
they use to be round circles.... a couple of months ago they changed to bricks but the were always called that... I don;t know it that was the "official" term or not
Ha, yes, they are called nesticles. In the old format, they used to be circles or spheres, so they got called nesticles or blue balls way back. In this format, they are squares but we kept the name or some call them boxicles. I still prefer nesticles.
LOL...I could totally see my DH and his friends doing something like that too if we had moved to this area.
As for the nesticles...I think the last I heard months ago when they were working the last time, it was around 3500 posts to get the first one but the number is constantly changing.
