Chick's  Sporting Goods will become D!ck's Sporting Goods. I think it is funny that Chick's will be D!ck's Stick out tongue They hare having a pretty good sale. Last week I got a great deal on running shoes.

If any of you moms or moms-to-be are considering the BOB Revolution stroller, they have them for 30% off (On Sunday it was only 10%). I just got one for Baby Bear. I am so excited!!! Plus my MIL is paying for it, so I got her a deal! It was regularly $389 and it came our to $273, not bad!! The Chick's in Upland (Colonies area) has 7 of them left plus a display in various colors, I got the last Navy one.

    Totally unrelated but in Boston we have D!cks Sporting Goods and the last time my sisters were staying with me we past a Chicks and they asked me if the 2 companies were somehow related. I didnt think they were but then I heard they were switching names and thought it was amusing...

    There used to be a baby furniture store in Hollywood called Sids Baby Furniture. I don't know if it's still there or not.

    DSG bought Chicks back in November 2007.   I was wondering when they would end up closing Chicks stores, and then saw the one by us having a store closing sale several weeks ago.  It sucks because Chicks was actually a decent place to get surfwear, and D!cks doesn't carry that stuff at all.  The stuff that DSG doesn't carry is the most heavily discounted stuff at Chicks right now.

    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    I'm going to miss the Chick's tent sales in the hot August heat. I would go every year, it was when I knew it was time for new running shoes.
