I finally broke down and replaced my old Nalgene bottle...
It's only taken me forever...LOL. I got a BPA-free one that is small enough that it will actually fit in a car cup holder. I wanted one of the aluminum ones like the Sigg versions but I know I would be horrible about washing it since you can't put it in the dishwasher
Re: I finally broke down and replaced my old Nalgene bottle...
Ha I put my aluminum one in the DW all the time. I like the aluminum ones, but the thing that stinks is that one drop on the ground and it looks like it went through WW2. It is awful. I really want a stainless steel one.
And I just can't bring myself to drink out of plastic at all. I know they have the BPA free ones now, but I think that plastic in general isn't that safe so I can't do it. The aluminum ones are dangerous too unless you have a resin insert in them, which mine does.
This is the one that I got and it was cheaper at Target (of course) than the Nalgene site...
YES! Those tops are awful on the stainless ones!
I'm not sure? I know my 2 old ones seemed practically indestructable. The reason I got rid of my first one was because I melted the top in the dishwasher...oops!
