For real!
We have a mouse problem in the garage, the development used to be a pasture so it was their home before ours, we laid traps but they were sneaky and ate the food but didn't get trapped, so we moved on to poison (I would like to catch them and release them but it doesn't work they'd jus come back).
Last night John was in and out of the garage, I was putting Cate to bed and I told him at least 5 times to close the door, it smells bad and I didn't want Sydney to go in there, well he left the door open and Syd must have got into the poison, she's been sick all day, John just called the vet and we have to take her up there, she needs some kind of shot and blood work done. He needs me to meet him b/c he has to go to Lowes and buy more poison so the vet can see whats in it.
I really can't take any more, I hope the vet can help her feel better. John may be playing it down but he said the vet said not to worry that she'll be OK, but I can't help but worry, she's my little love.
ETA: He swore up and down that he removed all the poison, then today he said that he just found one, right by where we keep Sydneys food (which is an air tight container).
Re: Ugh, I'm really mad at my DH
OMG! I hope Sydney is ok. I'd be livid, I don't blame you for being angry one bit.
Oh no - poor Sydney! I hope that she is okay!
FWIW: I'm mad at YH too for being so careless! Grrrr.
I'm mad at YH too! Poor Sydney!
Have you thought of getting the sticky mouse traps? they walk on them and get stuck. That's what one of my partners uses. He has mice in his attic - he swears up and down they have a band and at night they like to play and dance. Since he used the sticky traps, he thinks the bank is down to only a few members. ha...
