Part Time Vibes Needed
I think I've mentioned a couple of times that my project is ending, right now we don't have anything for me to go on to and my client took some of my scope away on Monday, so I'm bored, out of my mind!
I've been pondering going down to three days a week for a little while now, but I was unsure as to how to approach my boss without sounding lazy, for lack of a better word. Yesterday he approached me about it, it would "drag" out my remaining hours to the end of June, hopefully by then things have picked up or I can transfer to another group. He is appraoching the client this afternoon, it would mean that I get a 4 day weekend every week. I basically only have to work enough hours to cover our insurance each in order to be part time, i.e no minimum work week. Cate's daycare will allow her to go part time, hopefully the client goes for it and by next week I'll only be working 3 days a week at the most.
If the client doesn't go for it, I'll be out of a job in less than a month!
