  I watched the movie online and was crying and clutching onto my dog at the end.  My dog allowed me to cling to him, but he still looked at me like I was nuts.  I gave him a cookie afterwards.

  I didn't read the book, but I saw the movie in the theatre.  I knew what was going to happen, so I thought I prepared myself, but that was not the case!  My mom and I were sobbing and I felt like the rest of people in there were emotionless.  I hugged my dog a lot that night!

  I read the book a few years ago and saw it at the movies when it came out.  Absolutely one of the saddest movies I've ever seen.  I think the movie ended sadder than the book. And I also hugged my crazy lab a lot more than I usually do when I got home.
