I had a dream about one of my ex's last night and I remembered most of it vividly this morning. You all know what vividly means.
Re: Confessions (flame free)
I wish I could be a stay at home mom and I know people do it on what DH makes a year but neither of us are willing to give up that much. Besides, I feel like David would actually miss out on a lot due to that big of a paycutt. I'm sure we could make it work with me going part time but at the same time, I don;t want to give up on all the hardwork I've put in at my firm the past 4.5 years.
I also think that some of the people at my firm don't "trust" me anymore and don't put me on larger propjects and I'm worried that at evaluation time, I'm going to get in trouble. I haven't been reaching my hourly goals but part of the reason is that my priorities have changed and I'm not willing to work 70+ hours a week like I used to.
Jen, you and I are on similar paths today.
There's this guy at an office thousands of miles from mine - never met him. I've worked with him off and on (short 3-5 day reports). EVERY TIME I end up working with him, I tend to think something like "In another life, buddy..." because he is one helluva smooth talker. (I hesitate to say he's flirtatious because I've never met him in person and no idea how he acts in person, but on the phone? This man could do phone sex.)
Brought to you by the most recent report I'm working on for him.
It also makes me miss the days of dating just a little. I love MH, really I do, and I know very well "the grass is always greener on the other side of the other man's bed", but he's very unsmooth and doesn't QUITE get flirting. LOL
I DO NOT know what's going on with my body, but the past 3 days my digestive system has been gurgling at me. I thought it was me eating a bit more sugar than usual, except today I didn't really have sugar beyond a yogurt this morning and it's STILL doing it.
I feel horrible because it must sound like my stomach's growling or I'm passing gas and I'm not - it just makes its sounds and bothers me!
My stomach does this everytime I eat grapes. It's the weirdest thing!
