Your favorite Lancaster county getaway! ?We are looking to do an overnight somewhere in Lancaster so its still close to home while I practice letting someone else take care of Eli. ?Kyle and I just need a night away, but I have had difficulty leaving Eli. ?I need to let someone else watch him because when the baby comes, he can't come with me! ?I am looking for your hotel and bed and breakfast recommendations! ?Thanks for the help!
Re: Please recommend...
Ditto this...a friend of mine had her wedding there and it was beautiful.
We stayed here for DH's 30th. It was wonderful -- romantic B&B in a quaint town. Spring will be absolutely gorgeous - the inn is surrounded by gardens.
We did a couple of wineries around the area during the day, then toured Stoudt's brewery and had dinner there. There's also a HUGE antique sale every Sunday, if you're into that.
Check the Fulton Steamboat Inn out, Its really close to the outlets if you want to shop. DH and I stayed there a few years ago, really nice rooms and its close to lots of places to eat.

We stayed at Cameron Estate (http://www.cameronestateinn.com/chefNotes.htm) for our 1st anniversary. Loved the room and the food. The breakfast was quite nice, too in the morning. Full service, not buffet.
The Lancaster Arts Hotel (http://lancasterartshotel-px.trvlclick.com/), request the old part.. the part that had been a tobacco warehouse. The rooms are really neat;spa like The new part is rather boring and closed in. The restaurant, John J Jefferies(http://www.johnjjeffries.com/) is a bit gourmet and rather yummy, too. You could walk to a Barnstormers (http://lancasterbarnstormers.com/) game or they also do packages for various areas in Lancaster County. Rosa Rosa Restaurante (http://www.rosarosalancaster.com/) is pretty much right behind and Fenz (http://www.fenzrestaurant.com/) is right up the street If you are looking for other restaurants as well as Iron Hill @ F&M (http://www.ironhillbrewery.com/lancaster/). You could most likely walk to it.
So L.A.H allows a bit of stuff in walking distance where as Cameron Estate is kinda in the middle of nowhere. It all depends on the feel you are going for.
