does anyone know where I can get
lawn flamingos? my mom had mentioned liking them when she saw them on someone else's lawn as a birthday surprise. I'm talking the kind you can get from a rental company with a sign that says "happy birthday" or some such thing. thanks!

those are offically collectibles now. A few years ago, there was a news article about the company that made them (guess there was only one) that was shutting down, and they had planned to destroy all of the cast moldings. So I believe, the only ones out there are ones you can find through antique dealers and such...

Good luck. I tried to do something similar for DH's 30th birthday last fall, but I couldn't find anything around central PA.
