with all the negativity in the world, let's think of all the good that has occurred. Name three things we are grateful for...
1 - I was told today that the office will close Friday.
2 - DH and I have our health.
3 - I have amazing inlaws, for which I'm very grateful for.

Re: Let's think positive...
Omg Jackie I definitely needed this today. Unfortunately, I had to dig deep:
1 - I love my husband for being so understanding and so patient with me as my job drives me literally insane.
2 - I am planning a vacation for July! We can actually afford to go on vacation!
3 - I have an amazing family and a few GREAT friends.
I also need cocojack's positive thinking today...
I needed this as well. I'm grateful for:
1. My very supportive and loving husband who is getting me through this tough dissertation time right now.
2. My teaching job that I love and my students who are constantly pushing me intellectually.
3. My health. Considering I couldn't walk a little over two years ago, I'm grateful that I can take daily walks with Bauer.
Good idea! I'm grateful for:
1. My wonderful husband and happy marraige. He balances out my quirks with his own, so I think we make a pretty good team.
2. My job--full-time and freelance. And DH's job.
3. The ability to buy a house.
1. 99% of my family is healthy and the only one who is not healthy (my grandfather) has lived a very full, happy life and even now when he's facing his problems, he has his loving wife, his 4 children, and plenty of grandchildren and great-grandchildren close to him to comfort him and make him happy.
2. I am more in love with my husband than the day I married him. He is my everything and it's thank to his love and support that I am able to make it through each and every day and be the person that I am.
3. I live in a country where even now, when things are super tough and seem to be getting worse by the minute, we are still better off than so many people in this world. We have our political freedom, which is priceless, and at least the majority of us have roofs over our heads and enough food to keep us from starving. I know we are in a really bad place right now as a country, but we just have to remember that even on our worst days, most people in the world envy us and wish they could live under these circumstances.
Great Idea: Lets see.
1. My happy marriage to my DH
2. My health is good, my dogs are the best, & I still have a job.
3. My new friends
1. My wonderful DH who works hard everyday.
2. Our beautiful new home that I love going home to.
3. The fact that our dog loves his new back yard.

1- I can whole heartedly say that I am very happy being married to my husband. People say that the first year is the hardest and so far it has been pretty darn good.
2- With the crazy economy, so far we have been able to save money and keep our jobs and I am extremely grateful for that.
3- On a lighter note, I am so happy that I have off tomorrow! LOL
