new(ish) here... wanted to say hi...
I used to be a BIGtime follower of theknot.com while planning my wedding. I stopped over here a few times, but not a whole lot. Well, It's coming up on my one-year anniversary (already!!!), and I found myself mising the whole "scene." Mainly missing the random bits of conversation on the boards here, from people in the same situation/place as I am with my own life.
So, I thought I'd just pop in to say "hi" through this post, before posting replies on other people posts, and having them wonder who the heck I am...
My name is Michelle, I'm in Foothill Ranch (in South O.C., up the hill from Lake Forest/Mission Viejo). Turned 30 in September. Married since May 17th of last year, but have been with my husband for over 6 years total. No kids, and not sure there will ever be any (though this is a constant source of stress/arguments as we figure this one out...). I work as a legal secretary, though it's a JOB and not a career. I recently started my own photography biz (the Suitcase Studio), which is my real passion, and I'm hoping to be able to quit my day-job in less than 2 years and focus on the photography full-time. In the meantime, I play LOTTO every once in a while, just in case. ; )

Yes, what kind of photography do you do? Lenox and I also share your passion, and we go out shooting together, you should join us sometime.
Portrait photography, actually. Families, kids, babies, maternity, friends, couples, high school seniors, boudoir, etc. Looking to break into wedding photography, too.
