My school is on lockdown right now. I don't know what is going on, but I kinda freaked out when they rang the bells because one of my students was out of the classroom and I didn't know what to do (we have to shut our doors and stay in the room). He was returning from the rest room right as I shut the door though.
We went on lockdown once last year when a gang member was trying to steal a car from the teacher's parking lot.
Re: lockdown
How scary!
As I walk down the valley of the shadow of death
I take a look at my life & realize there's nothin left
cuz I been blastin & laughin so long,
that even my momma think's that my mind is gone
Wow, I havn't heard that song in a while.
Hopefully everything is ok.
Oh, my. How scary. I hope everything is ok.
Brandy-First you got the cali cali song in my head and now this. Gee thanks.
I teach in La Puente. This is the 1st lockdown this year; we only had one last year as well, I think.
Most scary stuff happens in the evening. There was a drive-by shooting around 4:45pm a few months ago, just around the corner from my school, in front of an elem. school. It's def not the best neighborhood.
