What are you making for Easter dinner?
We are having friends over.
Obviously I will do a nice ham... scalloped potatoes au gratin. What else? Green beans?
What's an Easter dessert?
Re: What are you making for Easter dinner?
My mom is making dinner, but I think she's having the usual- ham, red beats, potato salad, and a tofurkey for me, DH, and my brother. She might do stuff like mashed potatoes, green beans, and corn too. I don't really remember. For what you're having, I think green beans sounds good
For dessert, maybe something like strawberry shortcake? Seems Eastery to me. Along those lines, I made this cake last weekend. It doesn't look like that website wants to show the recipe for whatever reason, but if you were interested, I have it at home.
We're making green bean casserole to bring to the ILs. They cook the ham, and everyone else brings a side.
As for dessert, I'm a fan of pineapple upside-down cake at Easter. That and EASTER CANDY!!
... every single day of forever.
I was going to ask what everyone was having for Easter dessert because I'm bringing one to my MIL's for dinner.
We are having ham, scalloped potatoes, baked beans, deviled eggs, and a dessert that I still have to decide on.
