Hey Jen-

I wanted to post this the other day but forgot...how's your hydrangea looking?  Does it have blooms on it yet?  I noticed the other day mine had a few green sprouts then yesterday it had a lot more.  I was so excited since it was its first winter.

Hope you are feeling good and have a great holiday!

Re: **pennylane06**

  • There were a few little sprout coming up last weekend but I haven't checked it out since.  I'll have to check it today and let you know.  We're doing some landscaping in our backyard this spring and I'm thinking about getting another one or two.  The first one I have is in a spot where I don't really get to see it all that often.

I'm feeling great!  I think the second trimester energy boost is finally kicking in (hopefully I didn't just jinx myself!). Have a great Holiday!

  • Glad to hear that you're feeling well!!  We'll have to keep each other updated on the hydrangea progress this summer :)

I have 2 hydrangeas and I don't think much is going on with them right now...it still looks like a bunch of sticks.  Mine take a little longer to start but once they get going I have TONS of blooms.  My MIL is coming this summer and I'm sure she will be inspecting all her plants and flowers in the garden.  I didn't kill TOO many of them...LOL!  I can't help it she put in these exotic plants/flowers that are so hard to maintain.

  • Might be because of the size too...mine is probably still alot smaller than yours Lesli since yours have been planted longer.  I think one of my neighbors has a couple of hydrangea's that the previous owner put in...I should look at theirs and see if they have any blooms too.

Mine out front have leaf buds, I haven't checked on the ones out back.  I really like them, I think I am going to try to add a new one each year.
