Would you eat it?

So I brought a frozen burritto thingy for lunch the other day and didnt eat it. I was going to eat it today. I just checked and it sort of unfroze alittle, (it's one of those little fridges were the freeze is sort of open). I don't know how long it's been like that, would you eat it?

Re: Would you eat it?

  • I would especially if it's not chicken.  If it's veggie, bean, or beef, I'd reheat it and eat it.  (If it's chicken, I'd hesitate slightly and depending HOW unfroze it is, I probably would anyway... it's still been COLD the entire time so bacteria still might have a harder time developing.)

Not to mention nuking it?  LOL  Okay... reread that.  You're NUKING IT.  If there are any bacteria that can make it through the millions of microwave rays sent into that sucker until it's heated thoroughly, they're mutated to withstand anything anyway. LOL

  • yeah it has no meat in it
  • As long as you reheat it thoroughly (not as in "some of it's hot, some of its lukewarm") I'd chance it.
  • Since there's no meat in it I think you'd be fine especially since you're going to heat it up before eating it.
