A question

There are people posting from work, and for that reason they can't write "Blow Job" or "masturbation" - huh? It's not bad they are on a message board, but actually typing these things out is? Seriously - educate me

Re: A question

  • Two words:

    Fuzzy logic

Who are these people, and what planet are they from?

  • Maybe their work is okay with internet access but not foul language?  Beats me. Indifferent

  • Just people on other boards - there were like three of them. One couldn't post "blow jobs" so instead typed "____'s" and the other typed M*sturbation. Both of them said it was because they were on a work computer. Didn't make sense to me
  • Their companies might have tracking software that will pick up certain words when typed.  It is usually used in large companies where they can't (don't have the manpower, whatever) monitor the site usage.  Instead they load software that will alert the sys admin when certain words are typed.  There's a ton of words that can flag that user and then their usage can be monitored.  It's generally used to keep employees from misusing the internet and email.

The one that used m*sturbation will probably get flagged because it's too close to the actual word.
