It's a joke on the TTC6+ board (that is now the 12+ board) - a lot of other bump boards were posting about us and how mean and scary we were so we started calling ourselves a gang, and then the mafia. The 606 part started when a regular poster woke up early and her clock said 6:06 and she thought of us.
Yes, we are weird over there. LOL
