What has everyone been up to?
Seems a little dead in here lately...let's give some updates!
We've just been busy with baby showers and getting everything ready for the baby, all the while trying to pack up as much as we can for the move! It's going to be hectic, but I can't wait!
The house is really coming along, it's so exciting!
Re: What has everyone been up to?
We've been dealing with family illness. DH's grandpa found out he had lung cancer last October. He went through treatment and we thought that took care of it. We found out 2 weeks ago that the cancer spread through his blood into his brain. He isn't doing well and the doctor gave him 6 months if he repsonds to treatment.
Good news? I've kept up with running and have improved my pace. I need to cross train on my days off (I totally slacked off) but I'm doing well. And I found out that my best friend's baby shower is the same weekend as my sister's wedding so I can fly down for both. Yea!!
Hey Girls!~
I have been so busy with work and house hunting. I'm gettin pretty drained from it
I've passed a major milestone in my schooling and DH is almost finished. Seems like we will be Mr. Dr. Kaiser and Mrs. Dr. Kaiser someday after all.
We are down to one car and are still in a one bedroom apartment (packed floor to ceiling with wedding gifts!!!) We're looking for a position for DH that isn't too far away from where we are now and hopefully at that point we can move into a (rental) house. What I wouldn't give for a yard.
We're not TTC but I wouldn't be sad if we did. Our two doggies will have to fill the void for the time being.
