Re: ***A Healthy You Check-In***
*I'm only on day #2 so I'm still ironing a lot of kinks out of my new eating better lifestyle.
I'm proud of my increased intake of fruits and veggies. I had about 4 servings of just veggies today.
My goal for the upcoming week is to actually have a LOSS when I step on the scale.
Can you add me? I'm clearly not trying to lose weight now but I am trying to be healthier not just for the baby but me too.
ST Goal: Workout 3x a week (I have been doing the elliptical pretty well and I'm going to start swimming for when that gets to be too much and I just got the Wii Fit so I'm not sure what on there I can do).
LT Goal: Lose 80 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight
QOTW: How do you stay on top of your workout plan/ eating plan during holidays or schedule changes? That is so my downfall... I always go off of my diet during holidays... I will be interested in seeing these answers
Please name at least one thing that you are proud of yourself for this past week. Last night when I wanted to eat (and snack and snack and snack) I came upstairs so I wouldn't have access to food
Any goals for this upcoming week? eat better
QOTW: I don't really. Really. I eat like a pig. But, fortunately, holidays/schedule changes for me are when I adopt healthier habits. Even though I'd eat more than usual, I'd be walking and sleeping more and being more active in general. So I guess that's my saving grace!
Proud of: I went walking this morning!! I was so happy. It was so dang cold, but I don't care, I set a start date and kept to it (on sunday, the weather for today was supposed to be nice but it ended up saying 30 on my therm when I actually got outside...oh well!).
Goals: get to the gym! I'm doing a karate class toinght so that will help, but the walking every morning and the going to the gym again have to start back up. I desperately need to unpack some of this extra flab baggage. I don't fit half my pretty clothes anymore.

QOTW: How do you stay on top of your workout plan/ eating plan during holidays or schedule changes? I try to work out as much as possible... and I try not to pig out when I eat, haha
Please name at least one thing that you are proud of yourself for this past week. I had a great workout the other day
Any goals for this upcoming week? to try to get a new schedule down for the gym since i'm in school all day now
QOTW: How do you stay on top of your workout plan/ eating plan during holidays or schedule changes? I try to re-arrange things to still fit in going to the gym - if I can't...well, oh well.
Please name at least one thing that you are proud of yourself for this past week. I was down again at WW which was good. I had the flu last week so I didn't get to the gym as much as I wanted to but that's okay. I did have 2 people at work commend me on doing so well with my weight loss so that made me feel proud!
Any goals for this upcoming week? tracking what I eat.Can I be added to this?
)
Short term goal: to exercise at least 4x/week and eat healthier
Long term goal: to be heart healthy & 10 lbs lighter!
QOTW: How do you stay on top of your workout plan/ eating plan during holidays or schedule changes? My schedule is always changing with work (oh the joys of working in health care at all hours of the day...) so I try to plan ahead and adapt my sleep schedule so I can get at least 4 runs in a week.?
Please name at least one thing that you are proud of yourself for this past week. I had not a single thing of fried food and refrained from the (albeit?scary hospital) ham.
Any goals for this upcoming week? To get some sun while I run!! Also, to exercise at least once during my visit to my parents house this weekend.
