Any recs for places to go in Philly for guys for a bachelor party? My brothers is next weekend and they guys are stumped where to go....they don't want anything over crowded...and they don't want to have to bar hop and pay cover each time so they want somewhere that will stay.
None of us have been into the city recently unless it was in the summer and we were at an outdoor bar but it's too cold for that.
Thanks in advance
Re: Philly bars?
Well on the weekend everything will be crowded.
If they go into Olde City they can bar hop and there is usually no cover because of the amount of places to go. I recommend Blue Martini and Triumph. Triumph is a micro brewery. Cuba Libre is also super fun and there is usually a salsa band playing.
What about the Irish Pub, Eulogy, Lucy's? There are also a ton of place in Manyunk on Main st...Bayou, Brew Pub, Grape St.
Do they like cigars? I just went to Mahogany a couple weeks ago for a birthday gathering and really enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere. I would reserve an area for a larger crowd, but we hung out for hours and everything was great (even the food) except the leaving-smelling-like-cigar factor, but that might not be a big deal for a bachelor party.
H went to Fogo de Chao for his bachelor party dinner and thought it was a great set-up for the guys.
