Izzy, Eb and anyone else who has been to Spain..
Did you bring a hair dryer or straightening iron? I posted on the travel board about outlet converters and girls on there mentioned that their straighteners did not work/were fried while using a converter in Spain.
What did you use? Any recs? I just might die if I have to go 10 days without my straightener (I am hoping that the cruise has American outlets)! eek!
Re: Izzy, Eb and anyone else who has been to Spain..
I didn't bring my straightener. I brought my hairdryer, but I didn't even use it. All of the hotels (4 of them) we stayed in had hairdryers.
I used my converter for my phone charger and it worked fine. I'm going to email you in the next couple days with recs for restaurants in Seville. Do you have a converter? If not, you can borrow mine. I also have an anti-slash purse you can borrow if you want. We didn't have any problems with pick-pocketers, but the manager at our hotel in Madrid warned us about it.
Thanks, Kristen! Can I borrow both? I would LOVE any recs of restaurants in Sevill (and Madrid if you have them)!
Thank you for the link to the solia straighener. I think I might go ahead and buy it in case. It isn't too expensive and I dont want to ruin my nice one! (plus, I can straighten my hair in my car....awesome!)
Hey Krista... sorry it took me so long to respond. I was in an off-site training all day.
Anyway - since I lived in Spain for 6 months, I bought a hairdryer over there. Actually, I still have it, and if you want to bring it and use it, it's yours. Just let me know
The adapters work just as well, too!
