ugh!

who struggles in the evening with late night cravings?! I never use to be, but the last few months I am always craving sweets...gah, its killing me :)

  • I totally fall victim to my sweet tooth most nights (esp since as I post this I am eating M&M/chocolate chip cookies...yum).  I'm trying to eat smaller portions though or fruit instead, but I really don't try all that hard Embarrassed
  • I am right there with you Carrie. I always want sweets, but esp at night. I just made choc chip cookies, and they turned out soooo good. I want to just tell Kevin to bring them to work, so they aren't here for me.

    ?I bought some caramel dip for apples that comes in 100 calorie packs, and its more than enough for one apple. I also like the yoplait light yogurts. They are all 90-110 cals (as opposed to 170-220 cals for the regular ones). They come in flavours like boston cream pie, cinnamon roll, white chocolate raspberry, orange creme...

    anyway, they hit the spot pretty good too.

    AND if you love chocolate, Jello is coming out with a chocolate mousse that is only 60 calories and tastes so so good. (I tried some for a market research thing) I don't know when you'll be able to buy it, but keep an eye out in the refrigerated pudding section, because it is really good and definitely does not taste like a diet food.?

  • I am a candy buyer.....I dont eat sweets at night really, but while at work I just cant avoid it. I am just not that strong..........but I am working on it :)
  • I am awful about this! We have so much Easter candy right now to.

    I am trying really hard though. I had lost a bunch of weight last summer and now I have pretty much gained it back. I can tell I have lost my muscle I built up. I am a sweet tea junkie, so to make myself do good I cant have another chickfla sweet tea until I lose 5 pounds!

  • Sweets are my downfall.  I hate it.  I used to be good and be able to aviod them, but DH loves to eat sweets in bed right before he falls asleep, it drives me nuts.
  • I have a terrible sweet tooth and it's worse at night.  We just finally cleared all of the Easter candy out of the house.  That little bowl of goodness on my coffee table was my downfall over the past few weeks (and, somehow, kept getting replenished!).

    I'm trying very hard to decrease all of my snacking and the junk in the house.  When I was at the grocery store last week, I stocked up on Jell-O Sugar Feee pudding cups.  I just add a dollop of Cool Whip Free and it's a sweet treat that satisfies me for very few calories but, is portion controlled.

  • Yes I totally love sweets and try not to keep alot in the house for that reason.  I have to have something after dinner every night though but I try to keep it somewhat healthy.  I like fudge pops for only 60 calories.
  • Wow - this is SO me. I get a bad sweet tooth at night. But, I guess the morning can be bad too. I got up late this morning and had an ice cream sandwich for breakfast. That's got to be double taboo or something. This gives me renewed motivation to work on setting up knottie...err nestie walking challenge:) Watch for details to come.
