I have a friend coming in from out of town this weekend - know of anything exciting going on in Dallas that we can do?

The Deep Ellum Art Walk is Saturday night. One of DH's co-workers is showing some of his pieces, so we may check it out. Other than that, we will be painting the living room and doing stuff around the house.
Hopefully having a baby! If not, taking it easy and relaxing.
I would love to go to Main St. but w/ my luck my water would break while I was there. This will be the 1st time I've missed it in yers
*Enjoying Saturday with no kids and no husband. Kids will be at their mom's and DH is golfing in the AM and a bachelor party in the evening. This is one of my last free weekends b/w now and July 10th.
*Sunday....the typical - grocery store, laundry, cleaning, and probably work in the yard some.

I really need to attack our extra bedroom closet...it needs to be cleaned out and whats left needs to be organized. We are movning next month, and I dont want to pack things I dont need, and what I do need Id like to be in order. So that closet and the garage are on my list. Sunday is my best friends baby shower out in east texas, so Im sure thatll be an all day thing with the driving and all.
I'm sick so I WISH I was doing nothing but resting, but....
*Tonight - Bachelorette party for my soon-to-be SIL
*Friday - spend all day decorating the church/reception area. Rehearsal and then rehearsal dinner
*Saturday - Wedding stuff all day long
* Sunday - CRASH
My daughter's Prom is this weekend
Sunday we're just working around the yard before the HOA has another fit about our weeds. So we're spreading weed control, again. Owning a house is just a PITA sometimes!
& I'm off Monday so it's a 3 day weekend, yay!
Dh will be out of town this weekend for work and I have to work.
Saturday I am volunteering at the March of Dimes walk with my student organization.
Exciting, I know!
