I stole this from P&E on TK
- Who said "i love you" first?
- How often do you and DH say "i love you" throughout the day?
- Growing up was "i love you" something you heard often? DH?
Re: i love you
He said it first a few days after our 1 month anniversary. I said it right back. We both said that we knew before but was scared to say it!!
We tell each other all the time I love you. Definitley everytime we get off the phone too.
My parents said it to me sometimes growing up and I dont think his really ever did. When I was in highschool I started saying it more to my parents cause it was nice to hear from them. Since then we always say it. His family still doesnt say it, but I'm soo thankful DH is not like that.
First I texted it to him (while we were snuggling together). Then he said me too. Then we both said we had wanted to say it the previous weekend (it had been a beautiful fall weekend and we had taken a drive to Vermont, it was fun and romantic, but both of us thought it was too soon to say it)
?Whenever we talk on the phone, which is 2-3 times a day while ?he's at work, we say it, and in most of our texts we say it. When we wake up, when one of us leaves the room, when we're kissin and cuddlin, when we go to sleep, and randomly while just hanging out
?In my family?we say it all the time. Always on the phone. I grew up hearing it a lot from my mom and grandparents, but not so much from my dad. He says it a lot now tho.?
1. I said it first. I might have been a bit drunk (lol) but it was still true
2. We say it at least once to each other daily when we talk on the phone (oh the joys of a long-distance relationship)
3. Yes, my family was a very love-y fam
1. He said it first. Right after my high school graduation, he said im so proud of you and I love you so much! I was like hold up...replay...i love you to!
2. All the time! Everytime we talk on the phone, or text, when we see eachother and then there are the random times he just says it when Im cooking or something.
3. My family- very much so. people used to laugh at my brothers and I because we always said it they were like wow, but when your brother who is also your best friend is in a war zone in iraq...you never know so. Dh family not so much. His parents are very non contact kind of people.
