I have had my cat for 6 years. I got a nice dog a few years ago and he is mad over that. Then when I had my daughter 2 years ago he is very depressed. Now I am pregnant again and I know he will be upset. I have given him attention and petted him when I can. Now we found out he has elevated liver enzymes. We cant afford the huge vet bills for experimental drugs. He is not sick but could get that way. I found a no-kill shelter and he lady said to bring him up. She said she would find him a great home that will suit him. He would have a foster home in the meantime. I am so sad but I think its for his best interest.
Re: sad about my cat
I completely understand how you feel...I just had to give my dogs up because we also could not show them enough attention (plus pur yard was just not big enough for them to run and play. It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. But I know where they went, it is far, but they have a huge yard and a few other dogs to play with....I hope they like it.
You will soon realize it is for the best....good luck!
