Whats on the agenda for today?
I was having a good morning until I just called my mortgage company and they told me its gonna cost 150 to change my name! I think it will just stay my madien name for a little while longer. I just think that is crazy. We dont have 150 to just give them to change my name. anyway sorry for my venting.

Wow $150 for a name change! We havent done that either. Im really not worried about it.
Last night, we were at my moms house. DH had to put up shelves and pictures for her. She just had surgery so she cant lift a lot. We are going back there tonight so he can switch the sinks out.

Last night I went out and bought soup for my hubby who has a cold. Then we went to a poker tournament.?
Today I am doing laundry and housework. I'm gonna make some homemade chicken soup for both of us, and I'm taking zinc to try to prevent me from catching what he has.?
then, we might go over to the college to the Ben and Jerry's for free cone day, but if its only "while supplies last" we may be out of luck?

Last night a friend and I went on a tour of the Redhook brewery (best $1 I have EVER spent!) and then hung around for happy hour/dinner. I also sat outside and somehow managed to get a sunburn while reading more of Twilight.
Meg, I love 24 but I didn't catch the episode last night. Last week's episode way way exciting though, so I am intererested to see what happens...
Good morning! I was in NYC all day yesterday for work and feel like I missed a lot around here - you girls were busy posting! Last night was very low key. DH came home late and we just relaxed and watched Chuck and Heroes before heading off to bed.
bkenan - $150 to change your name??? That is absolutely insane. I think I'd put that off as long as possible, too.

Good morning ladies! Yesterday I was off work so did a lot of cleaning at our house and finishing up at the rental house which will actually be rented as of this week, so excited! Last night DH grilled burgers and we watched a little DWTS and went to bed early.
Bkenan - That is crazy to charge you for the name change, my mtg. company didn't charge anything. I would never do it, you don't have to and they are just trying to rip you off.
Today it is going to be 102 degrees here. Its to early for this, ugh!
wow $150 to change it...it'll just cost me $20 to change my name on my prof. certification..I'd be putting it off too
As for today, my first client isn't until 3:30 so I just might take the first step and go to the social security office to change my last name on it....or brave the DPS and get the drivers license...am i suppose to do one before the other?! Other than that its another beautiful day here in Houston
Megan- Thanks...we were cutting trees down at my parents this weekend and she was helping drag the limbs across the yard to the burn pit. It was so funny!
Yea, I am not paying 150 to change my name. I will just leave it. Until they start complaining or if I ever have the money, which I can find tons more stuff to do with it.

bkenan - thanks! I think I'll wait until thursday then...they have a branch that opens at 7am, and I'll just suck it up and get up early that day to be there

Morning. Last night I put up the rest of my pro photos on facebook, DH played video games. I went to sleep late and I'm working the night shift tonight.
Meg- I loveeee 24. But I am not watching the current season bc I'm on season 5 and want to watch in order. You should check out the other seasons. I loved the first season. Season 4 was also reallyyy good. Actually they all are. haha
P.S. Thanks for your post on BCP. I had totally forgotten to get a refill and I do it by mail order so I called this morning and hopefully it comes in time.
Lisa, I'm totally wanting to go back and watch all the seasons of 24 from the beginning!!! DH got me hooked and they are such total cliffhangers, it kills me every week!!!! How many seasons are there?

Bkenan - I live in the Phoenix area of AZ. I love the weather here mostly but the summers are super hot!
Carrie - here you have to do your s.s. card first before you can change your license. I guess this may vary state to state. I am pretty used to writing my married name now but saying it still sounds weird
Shell- the person I used to work with who just left moved to Chandler Az. She moved out there to be with her bf...they are so 67 and so cute! Is there humidity? GA summers are hot but they are also so humid.
I guess the SS card does change state to state, they told me license first then ss card. I am still getting used to signing my new name, Dh gets mad when I sign the old one if I use my old bank account so now I just sign my new one on everything.
