Jean Hem Alterations

Does anyone have any rec's for a good place to get your jeans altered? I ordered a few new pairs of jeans online and of course, they are super long on me and I need to take them somewhere to have the hem taken up. I would prefer to take them somewhere reputable since they are actually pricier jeans and I don't want them to get damaged in the process.

Re: Jean Hem Alterations

  • Not sure of your location, but I take mine for a tricky hem to Alterations Unlimited inside Stonebriar Mall, 2nd level, right outside Nordstrom. She does a great job.

This is where I had my wedding gown altered. Yes

  • No places near you...but most tailors should be able to do it.  DEFINITELY ask for the original hem to be put back on!
  • Your dry cleaner should also be able to do it.

They do a great job with hemming demin.  Thye replace the original hem and you honestly cannot tell they weren't made that way.

  • Thanks everyone! Yeah, I totally don't mind going out of the way to get them done because I want them done right and I am afraid to take them anywhere near me since I don't know the quality. I rarely dry clean anything these days and if so, it's usually one of those cheapy dry cleaners near me so I wouldn't want to go anyplace like that in fear that my new jeans would be massacred. Wink
