As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Sorry I didn't respond to your posting on my name change question sooner. I didn't realize I hadn't watched the thread.

 

When you say you didn't take the right papers, what did you need to take with you that you didn't do?

  • Hi Melissa.  Sorry I was out of town and just noticed this.  I took in the actual marriage license.  Unfortunately I sat there waiting for an hour before I got to see someone, only to find out I didn't have the proper information.  They wanted a certified copy of the license, not the original.  So I had to get one from the county clerk.  I can't remember what else if anything they needed, so be sure to call ahead to make certain you have everything to accomplish the task.

     

  • Thanks for the info. We got married in Florida so hopefully the copy they send us will work.
