$8000 First Time Home Tax Credit
I know there have been other posts about this but I'm still trying to figure it out. We just saw a great home come on the market and are trying to figure out if the $8000 can help us now.
If we purchased now do we wait until next taxes to get the refund? Anyone with experience in this if you could let me know how it worked for you I would appreciate it.

I wasn't aware of this. This year's tax refund was from last year. So I think you can't get the $8000 until next year's tax refund.
