Saturday I'm going up to see my aunt and uncle (the one who had a heart attack, he is doing so much better). DH was planning on coming with me, he just had to let his boss know. Well, now work tells him that they are short and he can't leave early on Saturday. It just agrevates me because he does so much for them and he can't get out a couple hours early. We have had to postpone plans because they negelcted to tell him the person who was supposed to releave him called in sick so he had to work a 12 hr shift. He works 6 days a week as it is. He even gets up on Sunday's to open the store so they can get in because we live so close, and they don't even pay him for that. Ugh, just frustrated! We were planning on going up spending time with them and making a whole day of it, not going to happen now.

That is so irritating!! I'm sorry that your plans were affected. It's unfair that living close means that he is inconvenienced (and without pay!) and terrible that your weekend has to be impacted by scheduling issues. Grrr....

Awww Kelly I'm soo sorry about that!! That sux!!! What does your DH do? can ya'll go up after he gets off or will it be to late?

He's an ast manager at Macy's working on the dock. Unfortunately it will be too late by the time he gets home to go up together. He is insisting that I still go because he knows I really want to (he knows how much I love them and how much I missed them, until they moved here). He did promise we would do something special when I get home though.
