My catch up post
Hi ladies,
Just wanted to update you all. We got back from our vacation on Sunday and I have been awful about catching up on posts. Here it goes.
Vacation was good. We went out Monday night for our 2 year anniversary and had a very nice dinner. Spent Monday-Wednesday at my parents' house. Charlotte had her first trip to the lake. I'll post pics later but it was wicked cute. Charlotte also started a growth spurt/teething and went from STTN to waking up 2-6 times per night. Not so fun.
On Friday, we heading down to CT to see some friends there and go to my friend's bridal shower on Sunday. We were staying with my husband's best friend who we really haven't see in 4-5 years since he was in the Army and did long tours in Korea and Iraq. Evan was really looking forward to spending some time with him. Unfortunately, our friend was a butt the entire time we were there and basically ignored us because he was too busy making out with his girlfriend. Then he got all pissy with us because we weren't going to take Charlotte to the fireworks. Hmmm, loud, bright and way past her bedtime when she is already having sleeping problems. Am I the only one that this does not sound like a good idea to? After that we barely saw him and he couldn't even be bothered to come out of his room when we were leaving.
The shower went really well though. My friend got a ton of great stuff and she loved the Survival Kit I made her.
Now I am back at work and waiting to be interview for the promotion. Any spare job dust you have would be greatly appreciated! I'll try to be better now about responding to posts and whatnot. Seems like the board was really dead the last week or so.

4 months!! Wow these babies, they keep growing up... sorry your DH's friend was a sucky suckerton. It can be hard when friends grow apart or are in different places in their life. Or stuck in HS making out w/ their girlfriend!
