I just noticed your ticker says 99 days left! YAY!!!! I know you've previously said the doctor won't let you go to 40 weeks (did you say 38 weeks?) but how exciting!
Those 2 little girls will be here before you know it! Hope you've been able to get some sleep and aren't too uncomfortable. How is the nursery coming?
Re: **Blairs**
It's going by so fast. I honestly feel like it was just yesterday that it was the Sunday before Thanksgiving, Blair and I were decorating for xmas because we had so much nervous energy, and the dr's office called to tell us we were pg.
The nursery is at a standstill. Blair thought we should have the windows replaced in that room since it is a little drafty. We ordered them last week. And hopefully they will be in the last week in May. We are actually getting all the windows replaced in our entire house. I honestly can't believe we are undertaking this project right now.
They aren't going to let me go past 38 weeks. When I go to the dr next week, we will schedule the c-section for around July 15. I would love to make it 38 weeks. I don't want them to come early. They could spend weeks or months in the nicu. I just keep telling myself that isn't going to happen.
I haven't been sleeping great at all for a couple of months now. I can never get comfortable.
How about you? I have a snoogle and a bunch of other pillows. I'll be comfortable for a little while and then that's it.
Do you have everything all set? Have you had your shower yet? Mine is next Saturday. I know the date and nothing else.
I can't believe you guys are undertaking the window project now either! LOL! But I guess it's better to do it now then when you have 2 babies in the house.
I can't believe your girls will be here by July 15th! I hope you're able to make it to 38 weeks and I hope making it that far doesn't mean bedrest everyday. I have a friend who just had her baby yesterday at 34 weeks and they're going to send the baby home tomorrow! I'm so happy he was so healthy and doesn't have to spend time in the nicu.
I can never get comfortable either and don't get a good night's sleep unless I take Tylenol PM. But I don't want to take it every night so I usually take it on the weekends and just deal with not sleeping much during the week. It doesn't matter how many pillows I use some part of my body always seems to hurt. And then of course I'll finally settle in and get somewhat comfortable and Toby will come up and want to snuggle and he likes laying right on top of my belly. LOL!
We don't have everything set (still need a few necessities) but we have our 2nd shower next Sat too. And after that we'll go out and buy everything else that we need. My SIL is sending us a bunch of hand me down clothes to use from my nephew that was born in Mar. MH was happy to hear we won't have to buy many newborn clothes
Thank-you so much for that!!!! I really needed to hear it.
