What's for lunch and snacks?
I mean, do you snack a lot during the day? MH doesn't snack at all, which is so weird to me. I snack so many times during the day.
I am having Corner Bakery for lunch (HOLLERRR) and I have several snacks with me of tuna with lemon juice, granola bar, dried squid, bell pepper, and an apple.
You?
Re: What's for lunch and snacks?
I'm not a big snacker either. It's a slippery slope for me so I have to limit myself. That tuna and lemon is delish though. Who knew?
<running to go look at menu>
Aline - I had to do planning before going to CB before. A good choice is the tuna on harvest bread and tomato soup. But your protein requirements are higher than mine so I'm curious to see what you order.
In my lunch box for snacks, I currently have:
-granola bar
-assorted pre cut fruit from costco
-yogurt
-peanut butter crackers
-capri sun
-corn bread
Things already eaten from the snack list:
-pop tarts
-ravioli (though, this was my lunch)
-milk
....I've found that when I'm hungry, I'm HUNGRY. There is no waiting time. Also, I cant seem to eat as much in one sitting anymore. I get full sooner than before (probably cause my baby is pushing my stomach up against other organs and such). Hence the need to constantly graze throughout the day.
Lunch is my carby meal.
Breakfast is a whey shake with milk . So that's actually not a bad option.
Dinner is a lean fish or meat with green veggies or another veggie protein source
Holey crap kim! That's a lotta snacks! But at least you have a good excuse for it.
I cannot wait for lunch, I'm antsy.
I'm thinking about a South Beach meal for lunch and for snacks having berries and dry cherrios
I NEED snacks. This morning I've already had rice crackers and a fruit cup. I keep oatmeal, crackers, chips, all kinds of goodies in my desk. I eat something probably every hour and a half.
Panera with the hubs for me
Snacks: milk, apple slices, gummi bears, popcorn.

I eat extra meals during the days so those are my snacks.
For Lunch, I'll have whatever DH makes for me. I hope it's small. I'm having a body fat analysis done at 3pm today, and I don't want to be full or bloated.
i snack more than i eat regular meals, i think.
i think i'll have some leftover quiche and a bowl of frozen shrimp wonton soup from costco for lunch.
then i'm debating making a few of those lovely nutella raviolis. maybe some popcorn. well, and the cookie jar's almost empty again, so i'll probably bust out some cookies today. and the teen wants to make some muddy buddies (chocolate & peanut butter covered rice chex) for a friend's birthday tomorrow.
lunch - LC or leftover pick up stix
snacks - brown rice cakes, plum or tangelo.
lunch - leftover fresh mozarella/tomato salad
snacks - cheese, dark chocolate, and maybe a pastry or iced tea from the cafe next door when i get to work. i'll probably have salami and cheese on water crackers before dinner, too.
Today's lunch is one slice of Southwestern chicken pizza.

Lunch was an Amy's cheese pocket.
Snacks included hot chocolate and apple sauce. I'm going to be without food for the afternoon -- boo -- so will be starving for dinner. Whatever that'll be...
I'm not a snacker, but if I have one it's usually mid-morning and consists of either string cheese or raw almonds.
For lunch today I am having carbtastic pasta leftovers from yesterday's admin's day luncheon.
I COULD snack allllll day, but try to avoid it as much as possible.
Lunch was Carls Jr charbroiled chicken sandwich wrapped in lettuce.
Snacks thus far are a cup of coffee, but I'll probably have some grape tomatoes. Boring, I know.
lunch - gross roasted red pepper soup from the cafeteria...I had high hopes for it since I love TJ's soup but this soup was awful
snack - normally a fruit and today's is an orange
I have a banana and an apple for snack every day. Today a kid gave me some shortbread cookies, so I ate those too.
Lunch was LC.
That's why I don't snack.
I would get cranky. I need the continuous stream of food for my blood sugar levels.
This. But if I do get that arm-gnawing feeling I try to limit my snack choices to one of a few things that are either protein-based or fruit.
This is me too. I start to get light-headed and illogical. And grumpy. It's not good for anyone around me.
Low blood sugar = Kirkette's needs for many meals in a day.
I never have the time or the inclination to have a hearty breakfast so I usually end up grazing on fruit and yogurt through to lunch time. Lunch is usually the hot meal of the day at a cafe nearby to work in Torrance, Chicken Cordon Bleu today, and then it's all downhill from there as I can't seem to stop eating between lunch and dinner. Usually, sweets in the form of a cookie or three. I'm also loving the passion fruit leathers and nuts and dried fruit combos from Trader Joes.
