Removing paint from linoleum
I finished painting our bedroom last night, but realized I had dropped a few drops of the paint on the linoleum (the floors in this place are so bad, but hey, it's free base housing). Anyway, any recs on an easy way to remove it? It has to be easier to get off the gross, shiny linoleum than carpet at least! It's water based paint, FYI.?
Now I'm off to find hooks to hang pictures in the lovely concrete walls, and paint our living room. (This is what you do when your DH has to go on a week long trip, and you have just moved to a foreign country where you only know a handful of people).?
Re: Removing paint from linoleum
Meg & Tx Jade's ideas work well.
What color did you go with?
I used a brillo pad scrubby thing and got it off. It wasn't a thick enough blob to just peel off, and I don't have a razor blade or goo-gone stuff.?
I ended up painting our room first, and I did a sage green color in here. I like it. I hung pictures up and curtains and made the bed up today- hopefully DH will like it when he gets back on Saturday. ?I am going to do the goldenrod yellow color in the living/dining room. I finally got ALL the boxes unpacked tonight, and my task tomorrow is to paint the living room. I am hoping to have it done by the time DH gets back Sat- we shall see...
