What did you end up doing?
Anything good this week you're expecting?
Re: How was your weekend?
Our weekend was mixed - overall it was good. Uncle Mike passed away Friday with his daughter at his bedside; we're thankful he's no longer in pain and suffering, but now all the vultures have swept in and some parts of the family are really making it disgusting.
Other than that, we had a good weekend. We saw "He's Just Not That Into You" and liked it; Sunday we didn't do much.
Friday night I hung out while DH went fishing.
Saturday I had to show some houses and do an open house from 10 - 5 and DH went fishing in TN so I hung out that night too.
Sunday we mowed the yard, starting working on a garden spot, went to lunch, watched bits of the nascar race, some friends stopped by, chilled at home that evening.
Nothing to look forward to this week that I can think of right now. It's just Monday so I'm sure something is bound to happen.
That race was INSANE. We watched portions of it and couldn't believe it! Thank god no one was really hurt on those crashes!
Saturday we had a wedding. It was 90 degrees out and the wedding was outside in the sun. It was HOT. Everything turned out good though.
Yesterday Matt & I went to Target to get some things we needed. Then we came home and I worked on some pictures and uploaded our new brochure to get printed.
This week we don't have any plans other than working on the blog pictures and starting on all of the wedding pics.
Paula, I'm sorry to hear that Uncle Mike passed.
Our weekend was good, I guess, we didn't really do to much, Saturday the weather was great so we hung out at home and Cate played in her new pool and with her sprinkler thing, although I'm pretty sure Sydney had a better time with the sprinkler. Yesterday I didn't leave the house, which for me is huge. We worked in the yard, Cate and I napped togther which we haven't done in months and we played outside again. All in all a good weekend.
This weekend was nice. We didn't really do anything terribly exciting but it was nice just to do things at our own pace. (Still getting used to not working so many hours).
David and I went shopping on Saturday. He likes flirting with all the ladies at the mall.
Sunday we bumbed around for a bit and then went to Menards to start planning out our front and back yard lanscaping projects.
Did you see the crash at the end with Carl Edwards? I thought he was going into the stands. I'm not a fan of him, but I was very happy to see him walk away unharmed. That's just incredible.
Paula - I'm really sorry to hear that Uncle Mike passed away this weekend.
My weekend was alright. I spent most of it cleaning the house, running a few errands, and sitting on the couch with my feet up (they were so swollen all weekend!).
I really hope this week goes by quickly because on Fri my MIL, SIL, and niece are coming in for a visit!
My weekend was good.
Saturday I went took my friend to the Melting Pot for her birthday. She had never been and loved it. Then we did alittle shopping. I didn't feel great so I dropped her off early than planned. I started to feel better though so I cleaned the house and did a few load of laundry.
Sunday MH and I went to this really cool fleamarket in the morning. In the afternoon I went out to lunch with my parents and sister and we walked around alittle bit, It was really hot out. Then I ran a few errands and got ready for the week.
Paula - Sorry to hear about Uncle Mike.
Mandy - You got the puppy! Did you name him? Please share pics when you can.
I had a good weekend, until DH's back started acting up Sat. night. He was laid up on the couch all day yesterday, not good.
Yeah, we saw the first crash, the 2nd "big one" and then that last lap crash. I couldn't believe how the fencing just SHREDDED the front of his car, but thank goodness for the improvements in safety or so many others would've been harmed. CWs and I were just talking about this - I guess like 8 people got harmed in the stands. (Someone speculated that while it would be hard for BIG PIECES of debris to make it through the fencing, the fluids from the INSANELY HOT car?!
) I give huge props to Edwards for getting out and running after a ride like that!
